Basic knowledge of plumbing, plumbing materials and equipment is essential to this position. Performs work involving purchasing, receiving, storing, maintaining inventory (levels), and issuing materials and supplies for a central storage warehouse and service trucks. Will also work closely with Plumbing Field Manager to see all company vehicles are properly maintained and serviced. Tasks require some physical labor in the loading and unloading of goods received and to be delivered. Should have a mechanical acumen and ability to make small routine repairs to plumbing equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Records and oversees deliveries, pickups, and returns to ensure quality and
quantity of product
2. Establishes and maintains relationships with supply house representatives
3. Organizes and determines appropriate places for storage. Monitors inventory in warehouse and trucks to insure proper recording and levels of materials. Fills material replenishment orders from the field.

4. Establishes and maintains relationships with vehicle repair facilities
5. Maintains inventory records and tracking system for warehouse and trucks.

6. Adjusts inventory levels to reflect receipts and disbursements.

7. Reviews supplier invoices for accuracy of charges and stock. Rotates stock as needed
8. Shops material prices and makes recommendations for suppliers
9. Oversees equipment maintenance and tracking (i.e. check in and out).
10. Maintains record of routine and nonroutine vehicle maintenance and repair. Works closely with Plumbing Field Manage to hold Plumber accountable for maintenance of their assigned vehicle. Oversees regular truck maintenance (i.e. cleanings, oil changes, mechanical maintenance).
