Position Title: Vice President, Planning Director

Salary: $118,604-$128,604 per year

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm \

Job Duties:

  • Lead team execution of first party audience research, such as focus groups, surveys, and ethnographies.
  • Oversee team development of products such as customer journeys, audience, segmentation, and audience messaging, all which require quantitative testing via surveys, working with third- party vendors, and using digital research tools such a MRI, Simmons, and social listening.
  • Responsible for overseeing the creation and publishing of research or though leadership to be shared with current and prospective clients.
  • Act as liaison with clients other marking public relations and advertising agencies to ensure consistency in messaging and branding
  • Conducting secondary research that illuminates trends among audiences, in culture and within industries and sectors.
  • Coordinating and supporting primary research via strategy workshops and in-depth interviews.
  • Supporting the development of insightful briefs that help our creative and editorial teams bring ideas to life.
  • Supporting the writing of thoughtful strategic upfronts that set the foundation for how we sell in our creative ideas within the context of a deck.
  • Developing audience personas using a mix of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Mapping the media habits and preferences of target audiences to provide strategic guidance on paid media and advertising plans.
  • Performing multi-channel brand and competitive audits to determine white space for positioning.
  • Helping to advance our team\'s reputation by supporting the development of thought leadership and trend watching.
Required Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field of study and Five (5) Years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:
  • Strategic account planning
  • Working with clients across a variety of industries / verticals / categories
  • Ability to easily develop an understanding of the client\'s business environment and strategy
  • Performing competitive analysis and identifying gaps and opportunities in the marketplace
  • GWI, Brandwatch and Mintel,
  • Google Analytics and GFKMRI
  • Forrester

$118,604 - $128,604 a year

An employee\'s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH\'s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits. \
