General Summary:

The Sr. Manager of Quality Engineering is responsible for leading a global team of entry level to experienced professionals focused on creating and maintaining automated tests from manual test scripts and test cases. This role supports day-to-day operations to ensure all test plans are maintained and the automation and architecture of test plans are fully functioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
  • Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
  • Influences others outside of their own job regarding policies, practices, and procedures
  • Contributes to policy and strategy implementation for short-term results
  • Leads and prioritizes the daily activities of the team
  • Manages, mentors, and coaches to develop a collaborative and dynamic team
  • Coordinates cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies to drive efficiency
  • Defines and drives IT quality assurance practices and procedures
  • Reviews and analyzes discrepancies in service or performance and recommends updates for products or services
  • Oversees test schedules and/or strategies in accordance with project scopes and delivery dates
  • Reviews software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness and to mitigate risks
  • Provides feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality
  • Identifies program deviance from standards and suggests modifications to ensure compliance
  • Develops and specifies standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness
  • Serves as advanced escalation point for complex reproducing, debugging, and isolating of software problems

  • Knowledge of programming concep
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of managerial experience
Working Conditions:
  • Onsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location
  • 0-10% travel may be required
