We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Data Science to join our team! How will you make an impact? The NA Marketing Science is an innovative team focused on data intelligence, technology and analytics to drive revenue and improve our positioning while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. Your team will drive profitably by improving customer experience through sophisticated models and customer audiences aimed at improving relevancy and personalization. You will lead a team of innovative Data Scientists and Analysts who develop solutions for a broad range of business functions. This position will scale our capability to analytically draw upon customer data and deliver relevant messaging across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of business and technical skills that will be applied to achieve personalization goals together with key counterparts including Marketing, Sales, Data Engineering and Strategic Pricing. A day in the life:

  • Attract, retain and develop a unique team of Data Scientists focused on modeling and audience development
  • Lead cross-functional relationships with Product Managers, IT, Marketing and Data Engineers to enable a data-first culture and elevate predictive modeling into business strategy
  • Influence business prioritization by finding opportunities to use data science solutions and elevate recommendations to all levels of leadership
  • Develop strategies to reach contacts through multiple marketing channels including onsite merchandising, email, social and 3rd party channels
  • Lead multi-year vision of data health and cleanliness with a cross-function, multi-sourced database. Prioritize required initiatives with IT and Data Architects
  • Understands business objectives and translates requirements into audience and data science modeling roadmap items
  • Lead Data Scientists to develop and interpret targeted customer and prospect profiles applying statistical methodologies as well as models and segmentation schemes to develop recommendations
  • Collaboration with other Data Science teams across the organization and the Corporate Center of Excellence to lead high level strategy & roadmap optimization
  • Lead existing vendor relationships and evaluate new vendors to provide 3rd party data for data augmentation and enrichment.
  • Liaison between Data Science team and IT resources such as Data Engineers and Data Stewards
Keys to Success:
  • Experience leading team that applies their diverse skills and perspective to achieve a common goal
  • Demonstrated expertise in predictive modeling, data mining and data analysis
  • Proficient with SQL, SAS, IBM, Python, Databricks or similar data collaboration platforms
  • Ability to translate modeling output to key business insights
  • Digitally savvy, with exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and disseminate information.
  • Ability to make decisions, prioritize and lead multiple projects in a fast- paced, dynamic environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • MBA or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Analytics, Economics or Data Science 8+ years of experience with sophisticated segmentation tools, statistical modeling, data architecture or similar
  • Experience with Query language and Campaign Management Tools (IBM Unica Campaign, Adobe Audience Manager)
  • Experience with in- market application of segmentation schemes, demographic data, and predictive modeling.
