Overview The Product Manager (PM) will take ownership of the product road maps within the business unit. This includes research, gathering and prioritizing the requirements based on enterprise impact, creating product road maps, coordinating with project management and resources on scheduling the development of those requirements, coordinating with users on training and implementation, conducting thorough process analysis, and controlling the execution of process improvement. Services under the direction of the Operations leader while developing a product strategy that delivers client-specific programs and services while driving competitive advantage. The PM coordinates technology development activities, engages internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and translates them into specification. Once new products and features are developed, the PM will oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance (AQ) to ensure successful product and service delivery. Responsibilities
  • Use market and competitive analysis, goals of the business, and technology capabilities to define and develop product road map and requirements.
  • Identify process gaps and redundancies within and across teams which impact product use and efficacy.
  • Liaise with PMO on projects involving process or product improvements and implementation.
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize new features by working with business units and the development teams to understand customer needs and define solution options.
  • Analyze data to develop insights into business needs and opportunities for creating and using data products.
  • Manage product backlog with input from customers and developers.
  • Monitor the progress of product development and product-release.
  • Review, accept and conduct UAT and QA assessments.
  • Participate in team retrospectives.
  • Ensure that management and business partners are apprised of product development, progress and delivery forecasts.
  • Assess the product value stream to identify areas for improvements.
  • Measure product performance, value delivery to clients (through a measure, learn, and adjust method).
  • Develop and implement action plans for building and sustaining demand for data products.
  • Ensure that product features add value to end-users while increasing company returns.
  • Manage costs and return on investment for projects.
  • Ensure brand integrity and consistency that includes functionality, style, look, and feel.
  • Regularly update operations on business product offerings, including gap analysis.
  • Helping to oversee the design and manufacture and planning how to market and promote the product to the public.
  • Defining product marketing communication objectives and partnership in creating and sharing of training materials
  • Comparing the company\xe2\x80\x99s products to competitor\xe2\x80\x99s products in order to assess competition in the market.
  • Providing management with analyses and reports and responding to questions and requests from management.
  • Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of product management or product development experience preferred.
  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria as a product owner in an Agile/SCRUM software development environment.
  • Experience developing capabilities roadmaps.
  • Solid aptitude of querying large data sets, building impactful reporting and using those insights to make data-driven decisions (use of PowerBI a plus).
  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams and influence partners in a matrixed environment.
  • Outstanding communication, project management and collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading story writing workshops to decompose projects into smaller units of work.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Benefits:
