We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic Buyer Experience & Focus Categories team. In this role, you will be responsible for the eBay onsite product experience for some of eBay\xe2\x80\x99s Fashion categories (Apparel, Sneakers) and drive our understanding of customer, market and business needs. You will also work with our add-on services technology platform that powers eBay\xe2\x80\x99s Authenticity Guarantee program as well as other add-on services that meet our customer needs.

You will be working with many groups within eBay, and have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of e-Commerce and business at scale. You will also participate in user research to better understand our customers through both qualitative (site visits, usability testing etc.) and quantitative (metrics, surveys, etc.) techniques. You will create exciting roadmaps and help sell the vision to our highly cross-functional organization. You will execute on the roadmap in collaboration with our partners and help us do the right thing for our customers and our businesses.

Responsibilities

• Develop the vision and roadmap for eBay onsite product experience for pre-loved apparel and sneakers, as well as, improve & scale existing programs such as Authenticity Guarantee
• Become an expert on Fashion enthusiast buyers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and pain points on eBay through planned discovery and self- learning
• Define functional requirements to enable large scale UX and platform updates
• Manage communication with executives and align the global teams on the product roadmap
• Develop customer insights that inform what we should be building by leveraging data insights, partnering with other eBay cross-functional teams, and by meeting with eBay users
• Manage a scrum team of engineers to deliver projects on time using Agile methodologies
• Prioritize features and manage the backlog. Coordinate, facilitate and drive efforts across cross-functional teams
• Promote a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability
• Deliver results that are key to eBay\xe2\x80\x99s business

Job requirements

• Strong customer empathy and a passion for building great customer experiences across web & mobile devices
• Experience with both user facing as well as platform products, working in partnership with engineering leads, UX designers, and business partners
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
• Solid technical background, with experience in working with engineering teams to manage software products using agile methodologies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are key. Our team constantly communicates with executives and you are expected to build and communicate vision, roadmap and execution plans
• Ability to analyze data and work with analytics partners to determine what tracking is needed, how the results will be reported etc.
• Capability to work independently and drive projects with many moving parts
• 7 or more years of Product Management or equivalent experience
• E-commerce experience in one or more of the following areas: product management, seller or frequent buyer, category management, business operations

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below. $149,200 - $234,850

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
