Downtown Streets Team (DST) is looking for a passionate and outgoing Office Administrator to help us end homelessness through the dignity of work and the power of community. We run two proven programs in 16 cities that successfully transition the unhoused to self-sufficiency.

SUMMARY
The Office Administrator will support the Project Manager(s) in the overall management and operation of the community-based program, through strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, while managing priorities and workflow. This is a full time regional-based position supporting our Hayward, Oakland, and Berkeley communities.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO

  • Tracking impact and reporting
  • Ordering and coordinating of office supplies, repairs/maintenance, outreach materials, work experience Team supplies and other needed items
  • Payout, reporting and scanning
  • Consistently update Clarity, 3S, DIRT, HMIS and any other related systems and ensure accurate reporting and data entry
  • Maintenance of Community social media posts and e-mail blasts
  • Sending thank you cards to community partners and supporter to include updating Constant Contact
  • Establish productive relationships with each and every participant with no bias or prejudice towards race, religion, age, sex, disability, or sexual preference
  • Uphold organizational values, work ethically and with integrity and follow company policies as laid out in Handbooks
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Traveling via car between East Bay communities
  • Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the office space
  • Present new services and opportunities to entire Team at designated Case Management section in Weekly Success Team Meetings
  • Provide compassionate support and assistance for participants in crisis
  • Utilize any available subsidies and affordable housing units to place participants into housing
  • Work in alliance with direct staff for any additional collaboration
  • Research services outside of the agency that may aid participants in their goals
  • Support Case Managers in Outreach efforts as needed

WHAT YOU\'LL NEED
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision
  • Excellent listening comprehension, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft programs
  • Using personal computer, keyboard, mouse and monitor
  • Observation and problem solving; hearing, seeing, reasoning and decision making
  • Basic mathematical ability
  • Valid CDL, insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 25 lbs.)
