Summary of Job Assists with program design and implementation of the Housing Authority of the City and County of Denver\xe2\x80\x99s (\xe2\x80\x9cDHA\xe2\x80\x9d) programs associated with education and employment. Provide service coordination, client outreach and assessment, case management coordination, resource development, and employment programming. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Assists with the program development and implementation of education and employment services. 2. Manages/supervises client caseload including tracking client progress, completing assessments and reassessments, writing case notes, collaborating with relevant DHA programs, and improving program design as needed. 3. Manages and supervises initial assessment, and post assessments for clients in the Education and Employment Program. 4. Works closely with other DHA staff to coordinate information sessions, orientations and classes for program participants. 5. Conducts outreach for clients regarding education and employment. 6. Researches, recommends, and coordinates resident employment and job training programs. 7. Maintains an effective and positive working relationship with community agencies and develops cooperative relationships to provide required services to clients. 8. Works with DHA families to plan for their future economic well-being through coordination of basic education, GED, skills training or post secondary education. Assists with identification of barriers and helps families overcome them. 9. Understands and complies with DHA\xe2\x80\x99s policies, procedures and regulations relating to the Education and Employment Program and ensures all subordinate staff also have a clear understanding of the program. 10. Assists with proposals and grants to increase funding sources to expand the Education and Employment Program. 11. Monitors tracking of all resident services through participant database and updates database monthly. 12. Assists in coordinating community-based organizational training programs to transition residents out of public housing. 13. Prepares monthly status reports. 14. Communicates with Employment and Training Supervisor regarding issues, problems, and suggestions. 15. Maintains a positive working relationship with DHA staff, clients, landlords, and the public. 16. Other duties as assigned. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.36 per hour Benefits:
