Job Description

Position Summary As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for collaborating with the Quality Assurance and Product Manager to support project management, feature/industry investigation, and technical documentation for Engaged Technologies\xe2\x80\x99 business initiatives. Any specific training or skill development will be provided as needed during your employment. An ideal candidate is constantly curious, creative, and detailed in and outside of the office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Work alongside or facilitate meetings for the Quality Assurance and Product Manager to gather requirements for Engaged Technologies\xe2\x80\x99 initiatives from business and internal stakeholders
• Conduct investigation or research into industry best practices
• Participate in software release management and validation
• Amend or create documentation as software or business requirements change
• Assist the software support team in validating issues or covering responsibilities
• Assist QA team with devising test scenarios or recreation steps for new features or bug
• Other duties as assigned

• Familiarity with team collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Trello)

• Familiarity with the Transportation/Logistics Industry

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the time. The general level of physical activity would be defined as sedentary. The employee is regularly required to operate a computer and may include other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, telephone, copy machine, and printer. Some movements of the hands, arms, and wrists may involve repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess various activities and surroundings.

The employee may be required to perform numerical operations including basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing or more complex quantitative calculations.
