Our Business Analyst at FROM will learn to take on roles on client projects or internal projects associated with helping to articulate the business challenge, shape the business vision, make the case for change, define high-level requirements, and shepherd that vision and those requirements through detailed design and implementation phases. Desired Foundation of Skills:
- Strong communication skills with all levels of management; Strong executive presence and polish
- Ability to think both strategically and be detail-oriented
- Structured requirements gathering and/or story-writing experience
- Meeting facilitation
- Client service experience
- Tools experience: Powerpoint, Excel, Word, usability testing tools, data visualization
- Experience with the digital creative process: from concept to design to go live
- Exposure to data analytics and data analysis tools a plus
- Exposure to business case development a plus
- Marketing, Finance, Analytics backgrounds a plus
- Identify marketplace trends, industries, new capabilities, client competitors
- Support stakeholder and user interviews (interview guide support, notetaking, synthesis)
- Support Concept testing (test plan support, scenario development support, notetaking, synthesis)
- Create and conduct stakeholder and user surveys
- Analyze, craft story around, and present all findings and implications of findings
- Document current state (pain points, processes)
- Define/articulate user personas, profiling, user experience scenarios
- Articulate business problem and goals and what customer behaviors should be the focus
- Support future state business vision definition and high-level requirements
- Support content strategy and content mapping
- Support business case definition: desired behaviors, desired outcomes, and financial implications
- Project portfolio and roadmap
- Articulate the business \xe2\x80\x9cstory\xe2\x80\x9d, i.e. here\xe2\x80\x99s what we expect to do and what we expect to get
- Proxy for client in driving business goals through design and implementation
- Collect, document, and manage business requirements and features and functions inventory
- Write and validate user stories and user acceptance criteria for functionality
- Collaborate with creative and technical resources to ensure adherence to requirements
- Conduct usability testing to validate functionality and make final design decisions
- Coordinate with business to resolve functional roadblocks
- Help document change requests and analyze the impact of a change in functionality
- Drive user acceptance testing for product designs and client beta products
