Job Description


The Workplace Technology Product Lead is accountable for delivering a thoughtfully designed workplace that improves employee experience while driving operational efficiency. You will own end-to-end accountability for the workplace technology aligned to your assigned user segments. Collaborating with partners in Global Technology and Global Real Estate to price the existing technology standard, assess user segment needs, build, and test prototypes in our experience labs, oversee A/B testing of the new technology standard in select buildings, and ultimately adopt the new standard for future deployments. You will work across Workplace Technology Solutions to ensure the standard is documented, understood, and that a roadmap for technology updates is created and socialized. Finally, measuring success by tracking improvements in user experience across the employees utilizing the new standard.

As a Product Manager, you should have a unique set of competencies gained through extensive experience operating in similar roles. Technically savvy and commercially astute, and deeply familiar with client relationship and account management constructs, as well as the product operating model. You will have worked extensively in large and complex organizations. By leveraging your deep understanding of the financial services industry, specifically in Sales & Trading and Relationship Management, you will deliver the most client value in the shortest amount of time.

You will work with leadership to identify efficiency and optimization opportunities. By analyzing our operations, suggest improvements based on data analysis and qualitative feedback, develop an execution plan, and lead the team through the change management process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the product vision, goals, and objectives, define requirements, and prioritize delivery to maximize the business value of the firm\'s workplace investment.
  • Lead end-to-end management and product delivery across the full product lifecycle including research, ideation, prototype, test, build, adopt, and measure in partnership with users, stakeholders, Design, and Technology.
  • Effectively drive teams toward robust set of delivery milestones. Understand and mitigate risks, delays, and inefficiencies in the product development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate governance by ensuring that: (a) workstreams and initiatives are tracked and actively managed, (b) KPIs are agreed, measured, and tracked, (c) deliverables are properly prioritized and sequenced, (d) risks are addressed and status measured, and (e) deliveries are successful.
  • Develop clear documentation of the scope, business requirements, use cases, workflows, wireframes, and other materials as needed to support UX research, design, and development.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with delivery partners across the Business, Technology, Design, and Data & Analytics functions.
  • Lead the workplace experience in partnership with Global Real Estate and Chief Administrative Office.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of product management techniques (e.g., product strategy development, customer engagement)
  • Experienced with process modelling techniques (e.g., value stream mapping)
  • Understanding of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, such as investment processes, business case development, cost, and recovery models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a senior management and customers
  • Practical experience in managing agile, cross-functional teams, often through influence (i.e., not direct oversight)

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Proven product manager focused on technology products is an advantage
  • Experienced manager of Technical Delivery team, particularly those based on agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology, and other key stakeholders
