Job Summary:

We are seeking talented and experienced Workday Developer who will be responsible for the following duties:
location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
job type: Contract
salary: $94 - 96 per hour
work hours: 9am to 5pm
education: Bachelors

responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integration between Workday and external payroll system (UKG Pro), benefits providers, learning content providers, stock and retirement providers, as well as internal downstream systems.

- Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions using Custom Reports, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformations, XSLT and Workday Studio.

- Design, build, test and deploy Workday Extend applications.

- Help the Business Systems Analysts gather and define requirements from our internal customers. Derive the technical requirements through questions that guide the development process.

- Translate requirements into a detailed technical specification to meet business goals.

- Complete design documentation and review the development of solutions specified in technical design.

- Ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.

- Unit and system test the solution. Provide test files to your customer and to external providers.

- Participate in proof-of-concept development, demos, and post-deployment support of cross-team integration efforts.

- Follow the change process before deploying new solutions or modifications.

- Collaborate with internal and external technical experts to develop and implement solutions.

- Communicate frequently with your customer to keep work moving and to keep them informed on progress.

- Work within a team to establish best practices in services development and integration of applications.

- Learn and adopt new technologies; active upskilling is part of this position.
