Job Summary:

  • The Senior Service Now Business Analyst and Developer will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Solutions and Delivery within HR Technology. This position will have an important role in delivering the Experience of a Lifetime for our employees as Service Now is positioned front and center for HR Service Delivery and engagement. This position will be a part of a team that is responsible for supporting the implementation of new enhancements, development of applications that interface between one or more applications and the general oversight of our Service Now HR Service Delivery application.
  • This position will share responsibility to implement and optimize the HR Employee Portal and will participate in the roll out of key system features including but not limited to: Employee Center, Agent Chat, Employee Journeys, Knowledge and Onboarding.
  • There will also be opportunities to support and get exposure to some of our other key HR Technology applications, including but not limited to:
  • Learning Management System (Saba), primarily in support of Talent Development, Compliance, Health & Safety and other company directives and/or trainings
  • Recruiting, Performance and Goals on our SuccessFactors HXM application.
  • Workforce Management (Legion), primarily in support of our managers and employees at limited resort locations.
  • Core HCM support and integrations on our primary HR Application (PeopleSoft)
  • The Senior Cloud Application Business Analyst will be part of a larger team of Business Analysts who will specialize in supporting one of the applications above, in addition to exposure to other HR applications and tools.
  • This role will partner closely with various Centers of Excellence (COE\'s) in HR, including the Talent Development, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and Shared Services teams, as the primary technology resource in IT for Service Now.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Open and track support tickets as needed and follow through with open issues reported from all business owners
  • Administer regular production system support, including researching, diagnosing and resolving data integrity issues, system bugs, etc.
  • Support the design of custom catalog items, working with various business partners for implementation.
  • Develop and maintain custom widgets, portal pages, REST APIs and script libraries to fulfill various business needs.
  • Develop, configure and maintain key Service Now HR Service Delivery components and features in response to business needs.
  • Manage vendor release process, including review and testing of new functionality; partner with business stakeholders to inform them of design changes/opportunities
  • Maintain priorities, be accountable for own work and manage expectations
  • Use standard techniques to elicit and document business requirements, effectively identify process inefficiencies and make suggestions for modifications
  • Manage testing process and go-live readiness
  • Collaborate with the Solutions Architect and other HR Technology Analysts on project work that may integrate between one or more applications
  • Provide secondary coverage for other HR Technology applications, as needed
  • Communicate recommendations to Sr. Management as needed to help address business concerns and mitigate risk.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or job experience in relevant field
  • 3-5 years of Service Now development and/or administration required
  • Demonstrated abilities to create high-end user experiences on Service Portal, Employee Center and/or other websites using Angular or related frameworks.
  • 3+ years of JavaScript development required.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience creating core BA deliverables (e.g. process maps, functional specs, test cases, etc)
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) and JIRA.
  • Attentive to detail, accuracy and committed to excellence and quality
  • Experience working with APIs and system documentation
  • Works autonomously, knowing when to escalate and seek support
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with the Service Now Mobile application strongly preferred
  • Certified Service Now Application Developer and/or related certifications
  • Experience working with custom APIs (outside of Flow Designer)
  • Service Now HR Service Delivery experience strongly preferred
  • Experience integrating with PeopleSoft and/or Workday
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $89,100 - $120,000 + Annual Bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
