Summary Reporting directly to the enterprise Chief Equity Officer, the Director of Equity Assessment, Engagement and Operations has primary responsibility for leading data analytics & process improvement initiatives related to Equity for the MUSC enterprise. The Director will provide leadership and direction for change management initiatives, budget and financial planning, project management, and program development for MUSC\'s Office of Equity. Additionally, this position has oversight for all ongoing projects supporting organizational Equity goals to ensure that the established milestones and measurement criteria are being met. The director works with the Chief Equity Officer to oversee data collection and analysis of related outcomes to include strategic initiatives. The Director ensures alignment with the MUSC\'s vision, mission and values across all MUSC entities and collaborates with enterprise entities/stakeholders responsible for data collection, dissemination, analysis and goal development. This is not a remote role.

Additionally, this position has oversight for all ongoing projects supporting organizational Equity goals to ensure that the established milestones and measurement criteria are being met. The director works with the Chief Equity Officer to oversee data collection and analysis of related outcomes to include strategic initiatives. The Director ensures alignment with the MUSC\'s vision, mission and values across all MUSC entities and collaborates with enterprise entities/stakeholders responsible for data collection, dissemination, analysis and goal development. This is not a remote role.

35%: Strategy- Develop, deploy and monitor implementation of Equity strategic initiatives and plans. Director provides management visibility into data-driven insights that inform MUSC\'s strategic direction for Equity, KPI\'s (key performance indicators) and ROI (return on investments). In this position, the Director of Equity Strategy and Operations also determines the adoption of suitable equity and inclusion assessment tools and resources that drive innovation and create an advantage and significant impact for MUSC, in order to support leaders and other MUSC stakeholders in making strategic, data-driven decisions.

25%: Collaboration-This Director\'s role is a highly collaborative one. The Director must work closely with the internal leaders to include Deans, and Health System executives, administrators, directors and managers (ADM) in an effort to guarantee the delivery of high-quality execution of the diverse array of project deliverables. In this collaboration, the Director of Equity Strategy & Operations also participates in the formulation of DEI data-driven organizational decisions and demonstrates delivery against MUSC overall objectives. The Director, in this collaborative role also partners with HR leadership in determining the goals criteria of recruitment, retention and leadership development as appropriate. Supervises Assistant Director, Equity Culture & Engagement and oversees efforts to support at-risk cohorts within workforce and organization at-large as well as novel resource development.

25%: Leadership-The Director provides thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key Equity goals and outcomes. The Director is also responsible for driving departmental culture and promoting data-driven decision-making, stakeholder-driven analytics, marketing, and planning - building a portfolio of analytics/business intelligence tools (utilizing quantitative and qualitative data).

15%: Analytics-This positions analytical role is to build, maintain, and improve the existing equity and inclusion analytics resources across the MUSC enterprise. The Director leads Equity measurement framework development and collaborates with MUSC stakeholders to define KPIs alongside senior data and analytics leadership. This director drives and oversees DEI data driven initiatives to meet and even exceed performance expectations, key metrics, and enable overall success related to of the DEI outcomes. It is also the Director\'s role in collaboration with the Chief Equity Officer, to assess MUSC\'s value and risks of growth opportunities as well as provide analytics that will position MUSC for continuous growth and integration of diverse health communities across the state. The Director will also report to MUSC\'s relevant stakeholders and external bodies on the performance of relevant metrics and draft and present proposed Equity strategies/approaches for departments across the enterprise.

Additional Minimum Requirements: A bachelor\'s degree and four years relevant program experience.
