Job Description


The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a qualified Training Coordinator to support our government customer in St Louis, MO.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft, organize, and manage all aspects of training for internal NMRA staff and external records personnel.
  • Develop, implement, and operate programs to train approximately 21 NMRA personnel on the functions of their job. This requires the training coordinator to learn all NMRA processes and train new employees and provide continuing education for existing employees, while also looking for process efficiencies
  • Train personnel on how to properly process and mail Service Treatment Records (STRs), how to use the STR Tracking Tool, and other required activities as defined by NMRA leadership. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop, implement, maintain, and operate programs to ensure training quality meets the NMRA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor approximately 26 NMRA staff members, including active duty, civilian, and contractor staff to ensure mandatory annual training is completed in a timely manner
  • The contractor shall develop, implement, and operate programs to train external personnel, most often active duty, on how to properly process and mail STRs, how to properly use the STR Tracking Tool, and other various required trainings. Trainings may be conducted weekly or bi-weekly as needed via telephone conference or VTC.
  • The contractor shall develop, implement, and operate programs to ensure internal quality meets the standards set by the Standard Operating Procedures of NMRA
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree Preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a training and/or quality assurance environment.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have experience with traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
  • Must be a self-directed leader with stellar organization skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple requirements concurrently and provide frequent updates to NMRA leadership.
  • Must be an effective communicator with the ability to lead/facilitate small group discussion and workshops both in person and via teleconference.
  • Must have familiarity/experience with STR Processing Operations Reporting Tracking Solution (SPORTS).
  • Must have familiarity/experience with Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS).
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Familiarity with Adobe Captivate and Defense Collaboration Services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management processes is preferred.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a favorable completion of National Agency Check with Local Agency Check (NACLC)
  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
