Drut Kustom Welding is looking for an In-House Tekla Modeler/detailer to join our team. We are looking for a local detailer only (No outsourcing or overseas inquiries please)

Must have Tekla experience, the ability to read and understand construction drawings as well as structural/architectural drawings. Must be able to visit job sites for field measuring, climbing ladders and stairs. Must be knowledgeable in stair, rail and ladder fabrication.

Job duties include preparation and production of shop drawings for fabrication of steel assemblies and structures. Detailer will work closely with shop personnel as needed to facilitate the fabrication process.

Skills:

-Qualified candidates must be proficient in Tekla structures 3D.

-Candidates must have good organizational skills and a working knowledge of computers.

-Candidates must have excellent time management skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects under constrained deadlines.

-Experience in structural drafting

-Familiarity with AISC Codes of Standard Practice, AWS welding codes, AISC Steel detailing standards and SSPC paint specifications is helpful, but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
