Title: Technical Assistance Coordinator, Grant Applications

Client: Federal Agency

Location: Columbus Metro Areas

Ability to Work: Onsite

Clearance: Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Number of Position(s): 1

Work Schedule: 9-6pm

Work Day: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday

Ability to Travel: local travel

Period of Performance: 1- October

Technical assistants provide assistance in completing applications both online and manual, as needed. A broad range of basic administrative support duties is required. Conduct data entry, process applications, and manage calendars and appointment scheduling, where applicable. Much of the role involves the preparation, processing, and archiving of applications and quality documentation and paperwork, including inspection of data for quality, and inventory logs, delivery records, timesheets, where applicable, requisition forms. They may act as a liaison relaying information and documents to and from numerous individual applicants and staff members. They may also handle routine correspondence and respond to general inquiries.

Technical assistants have an associate degree in a business discipline, although additional training or education is an advantage. These roles require strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple applications.

  • Manage storage by wrangling data through archiving, removing data and following guidelines and practices.
  • Work to ensure full resource utilization during shift.
  • Perform application management and handling, control and tracking functions, which may include the handling of schedules and events.
  • Perform all application processing procedures, monitor all staff for quality, productivity and efficiency and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Advise and assist in the orientation and training of others on equipment and software as needed
  • Report any machine problems or general issues that hinder the completion of renders to the appropriate department.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • A Bachelors degree . In lieu of college education and additional 4 years of relevant work related experience can be substituted.
  • A minimum of three or more work related experience.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Internet researches.
  • Proven experience in working with people of all backgrounds, working collaboratively w/ diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills that enable the member of the department to work together and make decisions on a variety of projects with significant outside pressures
  • Ability to build effective external relationships, experience providing external representation with outside agencies to ensure a consistent and high degree of professionalism
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends offset by comp time
  • Own or have dependable transportation to commute between project sites
