As a Subscriptions Product Manager, you will lead the optimization and growth of our IoT-enabled hunt planning subscription system. As the connection point between Product and Moultrie Mobile\'s subscription stakeholders, you will utilize a mix of business and technical savvy to make the company vision a reality. The Subscriptions Product Manager is accountable for understanding our customers\' POV and optimizing the subscription flows accordingly. As a \xe2\x80\x9chigh confidence, low ego\xe2\x80\x9d team player, the Subscriptions Product Manager will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering (mobile, web, and IoT hardware), Consumer Success, Marketing, Operations and Sales teams to translate a continuously improving user experience into revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously develop expertise on our unique userbase to understand how they value their hunting experience - and how that translates to our subscription model
  • Optimize subscription flows: maximize new subscribers, maximize revenue per subscriber, minimize attrition, and optimize reactivation flows
  • Lead A/B testing for subscription and revenue optimization by collaborating with UX and Software and analyzing results, reporting out to Product
  • Use data and logic to draw insights; use insights to drive actionable improvements to our system, app, and subscriptions
  • Become, and stay, expert in our value proposition, conversion, onboarding, lifecycle, and attrition
  • Articulate that understanding to the business and identify opportunities for research, growth, and improvement; present key metrics and findings as required
  • Work with Product Management to identify what, why, and how subscriptions and features can be extended and optimized for maximum business value
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Consumer Success, Hardware, and Software to optimize product and feature launches and evaluate performance against OKRs and KPIs
  • Work with UX and Product Management to iterate on designs and build consensus on those designs across all stakeholders
  • Create and own a backlog of subscription software tasks, direct and/or perform UAT, and act as the Voice of the Customer for an agile cross-functional software development team
  • Know your product and contribute a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the product and mission
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business administration or related field (in lieu of degree we will consider candidates with equitable years of professional work experience)
  • A minimum of three (3) years total related experience with a preference towards-
  • 2+ years in product management (preferably as a product owner) or working as a business analyst
  • 2+ years of experience working within an agile-lean software product development method, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • 2+ years of defining and documenting product requirements into small, well-articulated, and valuable deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with A/B testing tools and techniques
  • Expertise in at least one project management tool such as JIRA or Azure Dev Ops
  • Expertise in at least one design collaboration tool such as Whimsical or Figma
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework and/or Agile Release Trains
  • Experience with cross-platform mobile app development
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment across multiple functional teams
  • Demonstrated record of successfully contributing to projects from conception to completion
  • A proven track record of managing and supporting development of world-class consumer facing software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A background in, and product knowledge of the hunting, fishing, or outdoor sporting goods market
