The Student Services Coordinator reports directly to the Director for Compliance. The major duties include serving prospective student-athletes and 650 undergraduate student-athletes across twenty-five sports on University resources, policies, and requirements pertaining to campus housing, name, image and likeness and per diem. Communicating with and guiding student-athletes, parents, DIA coaches and staff, as needed through a variety of housing requests; and collaborating with multiple support service providers on campus and within Athletics to develop and implement student services programs that provide enriched support. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating program needs and effectiveness to contribute to long-range planning of services.
Additional duties may include serving on Compliance committee groups, delivering ongoing education to student-athletes via student-athlete class rank meetings and mid-year orientations, and other duties as assigned by Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Director of Compliance.
This position will comply with department, university, conference, NCAA, and state regulations in all activities.
