Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Sr. Manager Commercial Contracts, International is responsible for overseeing international commercial program contract administration and customer liaison activities; and ensuring AAR compliance with all contract requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure contracts are fulfilled to meet all contractual requirements.
- Reviews customers contracts and purchase orders to ensure adherence to and/or agreement with AAR corporate legal department standard.
- Oversees, examines and reviews offers provided to vendors/buyers in fulfillment of solicitations, requests for proposal or requests for quotations.
- Examines quotations/proposals to compare to AARs positions.
- Ensures customer-initiated issues are promptly resolved.
- Prepares and reviews bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required.
- Negotiates contract terms and conditions with customers or bidders.
- Works cooperatively with other company departments and groups to ensure the highest service level possible.
- Manages contract files.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
