Contracts Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Administrator. The successful candidate will provide hands-on administration of contracts for both Government and Non-Government contracts, ensuring compliance and good business factors. This position will be in the office located in Newbury Park, CA.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide contract negotiation and administration on a variety of programs, both Government and Non-Government, for all phases of the contract life-cycle (pre-proposal through contract closeout.
  • Performs analysis of proposals with respect to T\xe2\x80\x99s & C\xe2\x80\x99s, appropriate FAR/DFAR clause flow-downs, and proposed price/cost, and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other government regulations.
  • Review contracts and related documents to assess risk to the company and recommend mitigation approaches and ensure compliance with various federal regulations and company policy.
  • Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and administers non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, and other related documents.
  • Compiles and maintains all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and company policies and procedures. Initiates and executes closeout activities.
  • Contributes to ongoing organizational continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously.
  • Order entry into CRM, including contract line-item inputs, and invoicing.
  • Perform other duties, as necessary.

Relevant Experience and Requirements:
  • BS/BA in a related field. Business or Contract Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience with government or commercial contracts.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), a plus.
  • Experience with cost reimbursable, award fee, incentive fee and firm fixed price contracts.
  • Experience with NASA/JPL/SBIR contracts is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with major Aerospace primes/subs preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, computer fluency, agile and effective negotiation skills with clear oral and written explanations.
  • Engage company empowered official when any International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are required.

Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional local and domestic travel as needed.

Employment Criteria: This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data. Therefore, candidates will need to qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

Pay: Salary $76,000 to $95,000 DOE
