  • Provide general legal support for all areas of Sikorsky Supply Chain, including but not limited to Sikorsky Supply Chain executive leadership, Sikorsky Subcontracts Specialist Group (SSG), all buying groups, the Sikorsky Supply Chain Compliance team, the Sikorsky Small Business team (including supporting audit and compliance related activity associated with Sikorsky\xe2\x80\x99s participation in the Comprehensive Small Business Plan Test Program).
  • Continually assess, with Supply Chain Management, process improvements related to substantive matters and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with Sikorsky Market Segment counsel to provide legal advice associated with supply chain issues affecting individual market segment programs, with a focus on assisting with the development of sourcing strategies to support key capture activity.
  • Coordinate with Sikorsky Market Segment Counsel, Sikorsky Intellectual Property Counsel (when applicable), the SSG and individual buying groups to craft tailored flow-down clauses required to meet specific program requirements.
  • Coordinate with Sikorsky Intellectual Property Counsel to provide legal advice associated with supply chain intellectual property issues, including IP issues affecting individual market segment programs, with a focus on assisting with the development and implementation of IP sourcing strategies and alternate sourcing strategies to support capture and execution activities and key development programs.
  • Conduct internal investigations related to Sikorsky Supply Chain issues, and coordinate responses to Government investigations related to Sikorsky Supply Chain issues.
  • Provide legal advice associated with Sikorsky\xe2\x80\x99s DFARS Purchasing System.
  • Support Litigation counsel with litigation matters involving suppliers.
  • Provide legal support and guidance to the Sikorsky SSG on terms and conditions negotiation and negotiation strategy, including providing reviews and approvals as required by the Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and Commercial Acquisition Procedures (CAP).
  • Provide initial Intellectual Property legal support and guidance to the Sikorsky SSG on terms and conditions negotiation and negotiation strategy with respect to the Intellectual Property provisions, including IP Indemnification and Proprietary Information terms, flagging potential flow-down requirements for review by Sikorsky Intellectual Property Counsel, including but not limited to IP ownership and licensing terms and conditions, and ensuing compliance with intellectual property requirements for the market segment programs
  • Provide legal advice in relation to potential impacts of supplier mergers/acquisitions/offshoring and supplier bankruptcies.
  • Serve as a legal advisor to and voting member of Sikorsky\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Council, a cross functional organization tasked with reviewing and approving root cause and corrective action analyses of quality escapes and concerns.
  • Provide legal support to the Supplier Accountability Review Board
  • Support review and approval of changes to standard Sikorsky Supplement and LTA baseline documents
  • Support CTC (Corporate Terms Council) on review of revisions to CorpDocs
  • Support teaming activity with potential suppliers in coordination with market segment counsel and other responsible functions.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have 7 years of experience as a practicing attorney supporting commercial, supplier-based and/or government contracts transactions.

Must be a motivated self-starter who can energize and collaborate with the team, take responsibility for legal projects, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of work.

Desired Skills:
Previous experience as outside counsel and/or in-house counsel.

Experience with teaming agreements, international contracting and offset, financing, export control, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and aerospace or defense industry is highly desired

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
