We are hiring for a Senior Software Architect which will establish software architecture in a JavaScript & React framework for products & provide technical guidance to development, quality assurance, DevOps staff and other cross functional teams.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborates with Product Management, Engineering leadership, other architects, and other stakeholders to investigate and understand functional and non-functional product requirements.

• Produces and maintains high-level product specifications and design guidance.

• Supports Product Management, Program Management, and Engineering leadership in specification of product roadmaps, estimates, and backlogs.

• Actively participates in the creation of proofs of concept and other short-term efforts intended to validate architectures and solutions.

• Interacts daily with developers, testers, and DevOps specialists to ensure successful realization of the product architecture.

• Provides support to developers as a design and implementation reviewer.

• Supports customer service activities, especially to gather input for revision to architectures based on changing requirements.

• Recommends and follows best practices and internal policies to ensure product functionality, usability, reliability, and availability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical staff.

• 3 or more years as a software architect.

• 8 or more years in software development.

• Expert experience and knowledge of design principles, tools, and techniques with JavaScript & React, Java Spring and Flutter frameworks.

• Expert knowledge specifying web services and REST APIs

• Expert knowledge of microservices architecture and containerized deployment

• Expert knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing environments

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field, Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred

PREFERED:

• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB

• Experience with machine learning

• Experience with Python & Django

• Experience with AWS
