We are currently seeking a Chief Software Architect to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Duties:
The Chief Software Architect is responsible for building and improving software architecture based on establishedrequirements and design elements.
- Analyzes and improves stability, scalability, and the performance of products
- Assists Software Engineers with the creation of detailed software design specifications
- Participates in the system specification review process to ensure system requirements can be translated into validsoftware architecture
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in computer science or related field;
- 10 years of experience developing applications based on .Net/Java design patterns;
- 4years of architecture and design experience in Microservice/DevOps-based software projects;
- 5 years of experience designing and developing applications;
- 3 years of experience transitioning apps from On Prem to Cloud/Cloud Hybrid;
- Must be a US citizen;
- Must reside in the Washington, DC Metro area.
- 5 years of experience using service delivery tools like ServiceNow
