Developing Minds Therapy Services\' social skills groups are designed to teach children how to interact, play, and develop friendships. We use an evidence-based treatment approach that has a positive and significant impact on the development of interpersonal skills and positive social behaviors. We are committed to providing treatment with a focus on equipping the children we serve, ages 18 months to 12 years, with the functional skills they need to interact with the world around them.
The coordinator works with the clinical director, BCBAs and RBTs to coordinate the social skills group series. The coordinator must work independently, make decisions that weigh both the needs of clients and staff, and ensure that the program meets the needs of the clients and is aligned with each child\xe2\x80\x99s individualized treatment plan. The coordinator makes sure that each series of sessions have prepared lesson plans, materials prepped, parent support materials, data sheets, and overall organization is in place for the program to run in a well-planned fashion.
We use an evidence-based approach for both treatment and staff training. With a focus on ongoing staff education as well as a work-life balance program. We promote individual work goals as part of our company growth. Our organization is available on our website at www.developingmindsts.com.
