Cherry Glass & Aluminum (CGA) is a multi-generational local business established in 1968 as a branch of Capitol Glass and then purchased and rebranded in 1978.

We are seeking individuals (part-time up to full-time) to join our team in-house -- no agencies, please.

This role will primarily support Cherry Glass but will also assist with social media and marketing efforts for our sister companies

Core Purpose

To support our local brands by creating simple graphics, posting to social media, and monitoring comments and messages in order to keep our online presence active and professional. The goal is to

highlight our projects, showcase our core strengths, and represent the quality of work and culture at Cherry Glass and our sister companies

. This includes sharing jobsite updates, posting hiring notices, promoting services, maintaining a consistent brand look, collaborating with our videographer, and engaging with our local community online.

What You'll Do

Daily/Weekly Responsibilities

Create simple graphics and visuals (ads, project photos, hiring posts) using tools like Canva or Photoshop. Post to social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) with consistent, on-brand content. Highlight current projects, employee/team spotlights, and completed jobs to show company strengths. Monitor comments, messages, and activity -- escalate questions or concerns to management as needed. Monitor

local community pages

for people seeking services we offer and share/respond appropriately. Capture or request jobsite/project photos for use in posts. Collaborate with our

in-house videographer

to produce engaging short-form video content. Keep a basic content calendar aligned with company events and projects.

As-Needed Responsibilities

Assist with updating website photos or text. Support leadership with marketing tasks such as flyers, brochures, or simple ads. Track basic engagement (likes, shares, comments) and report what's working.

What You Bring (Requirements)

Basic

graphic design skills

(Canva, Photoshop, or similar). Comfortable using

social media platforms

(Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work both independently and with a team. Good communication skills to represent our companies professionally online.

Nice to Have

Photography or video editing skills. Previous experience posting for a business or organization. Knowledge of construction, trades, or local Idaho businesses.
