WORK LOCATION:

Snow Branch - 8740 Courthouse Rd, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22553

STARTING SALARY:

Hiring starts at $47,478 with excellent benefits, including affordable health premiums and VRS retirement for a total compensation package worth approximately

$67,989

per year. The starting PTO amount is 4 weeks plus approximately 1 week of PTO earned for holidays.

TOTAL HOURS:

40 hours/week; Approximately 20 desk hours a week, including one night per week plus one Saturday per month. Schedule flexibility including occasional evenings and weekends will be required to accommodate community events or meetings and special classes. One telework day a week as organizational needs permit.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Responsible for assisting the Branch Administrator with the daily branch operations and delivers readers' advisory, research instruction, and educational classes and events for adults.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES:

Primary leadership within the branch in the absence of the Branch Administrator and Assistant Branch Manager. Primary for adult and customer services. Member of the Branch Administrator leadership team, Customer Services Department Heads and system-wide Adult Services teams.
