We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers and Truck Snow Plowers. In this role, you will be responsible for clearing snow from various surfaces to ensure safe access for pedestrians and vehicles. This position requires attention to safety, physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment during winter weather conditions.
Duties
Clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels and other hand tools and plow trucks.
Apply ice melt or sand as needed to prevent slipping hazards.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment used for snow removal.
Assist with additional groundskeeping tasks as required, including mowing, landscape maintenance, tree trimming, and lawn care during non-winter months.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are effectively cleared in a timely manner.
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
Previous experience in snow removal or related outdoor work is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Strong physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy loads and work in cold weather conditions for extended periods.
Knowledge of landscaping practices such as irrigation, tree care, and groundskeeping is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
