The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is a premier private ski and snowboard destination in the Green Mountains of Vermont, dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our members and their guests. With pristine trails, small-group instruction, and a community centered around the heritage and lifestyle of skiing and riding, Haystack offers something truly unique -- corduroy at 3 p.m. on a Saturday.


We are seeking an

On-Snow Administrative Supervisor

to support the daily operations of our Snowsports School. This dynamic role combines time on the snow with essential administrative responsibilities, coordinating lesson logistics, instructor assignments, and guest communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and shares our passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Support daily on-snow operations, ensuring smooth lesson flow and instructor coordination. Manage scheduling, payroll, and lesson tracking for all Snowsports programs. Communicate professionally with members, guests, and staff. Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative tasks in the Snowsports office. Be actively present on the mountain to uphold the quality and experience of all lessons.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in recreation, guest services, or office administration. Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar systems. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to ski or snowboard in variable winter conditions. PSIA-AASI certification and prior supervisory experience preferred.
