Staying apprised of current and future information technology spending requirements
Analyzing, managing, negotiating and renewing contracts
Analyzing purchasing process improvement opportunities
Providing input and making recommendations
Leading teams make up of employees from different functional areas
Creating and executing purchasing action plans
Monitoring information technology spending
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:
Four or more years of information technology purchasing experience for a large information technology department
A related four year degree or an additional six years of experience
One or more years of employee management experience
