Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide day to day tactical support as well as long-term strategic support to the finance team. This position is responsible for financial modeling, monthly review of departmental financial reporting requests, assisting in monthly/quarterly forecasting, and the annual budgeting process. In addition, you will lead project work, support system implementations, and other initiatives. Ideal candidates are extremely organized, have great time management skills and a strong desire to leverage data to guide business decisions.

This position is based at our beautiful headquarters in West Bend, WI and reports directly to the Vice President of Finance. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to our headquarters in West Bend, Wisconsin: a hybrid work schedule will be considered upon completion of the initial training period.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements for multiple entities using generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP).
  • Create and maintain monthly and/or quarterly financial forecasting and assist with annual budgeting process and reporting.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting schedules, including budget variance, KPI analysis and financial modeling.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on new accounting guidance and requirements.
  • Create, maintain and update process documents/walkthrough narratives for each business cycle.
  • Miscellaneous special projects and duties as requested.
Education/Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of work experience in the accounting or finance field.
  • Strong competence in MS Excel, MS Word, and G-Suite.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Ability to turn data from various sources into insights \xe2\x80\x93 explaining why and asking so what \xe2\x80\x93 with the confidence to provide compelling recommendations to leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities at once.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up is required.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills. Possesses a strong desire to understand what is behind the numbers.
  • Project management skills preferred.
