Senior Financial Analyst FP&A The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparation of financial and operational metric reports, variance analysis, development of financial models, supporting the budgeting/forecasting processes, and communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders. This position will report directly to the Director of FP&A. Location: Denver, CO Compensation: $90,000-110,000/Annually Job Responsibilities:
Prepare regular monthly financial reports that will provide timely insight related to business results and trends
Conduct monthly variance analysis to trend, forecast, budget and other points of comparison
Conduct analysis to support the delivery of monthly management, board level reviews, and quarterly investor updates
Support the annual strategic planning and budgeting processes as well as the rolling forecast process
Develop and/or implement department and segment level analytics and KPI\'s of financial and operational results
Track trend and budget adherence to measure performance in crucial areas of the business
Responsible for monthly segment and departmental reporting including but not limited to expenses, revenue, profit, and capital expenditures
Creation, maintenance, and improvement of pro forma financial models
Conduct ad-hoc projects, reports and financial analyses as determined by senior management
Be a team player working with multiple cross functional teams in a collaborative and constructive manner
Deliver timely, accurate, well organized work for areas of responsibility
Actively work towards continuous process and work product improvement
Job Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field required
3+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, public accounting, or investment banking
Proficient accounting knowledge of balance sheets, income statements, financial statements, and consolidations
Proven track record of creating and implementing custom reporting solutions
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and oral
