TEAM OVERVIEW: Auctane\xe2\x80\x99s Finance team is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives, generating insights into business performance, and leading financial decisions across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders by providing effective decision-making support to drive long-term business performance. We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to support management in effectively understanding and managing the performance of the business. This role will help plan guidance and communicate targets as well as developing drivers-based models and improving management reporting. Providing leadership, effectively delivering timely reporting and communications to facilitate alignment of business objectives are key requirements for this role. **This position is located in Austin, TX** We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business stakeholders to forecast and track operating expenditures and advise on future budgeting. Knowledge of forecasting models and processes and understanding business drivers are key requirements for this position. Ultimately, you will help stakeholders understand their spend and ensure that expenses align with business objectives.

Primary Objectives:

  • Developing financial forecasts and budgets to track operating expenses for business stakeholders
  • Analyzing and reporting on variances to forecast and budget; identifying areas of risks or opportunity for improvement
  • Researching expenses and helping the business manage to budgets
  • Coordinating with the rest of the FP&A team to produce monthly forecasts and long-term financial plans
  • Reviewing accounting transactions and HR reports for data accuracy
  • Establishing financial policies and maintaining confidentiality of financial information and decisions
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) (preferably Netsuite)
  • Excellent analytical skills, a proactive communicator and self-starter
  • Ability to present financial data using reports and charts and communicate results clearly
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Strong written and oral interpersonal skills
  • Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work
Required Education:
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:
Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slide, etc.) Additional Position Duties:
  • Sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Utilize wrist and hands for a prolonged period of time
  • Walk short distances
  • Stand for short periods
  • Speaking and conversing with others
  • Lift up to 25lbs without assistance up to chest height
