Supports the business decisions and financial/accounting processes of the bank through the preparation and interpretation of the following: periodic management and regulatory reports, ad hoc analysis and reports, budgeting, profitability analysis, forecasts, and modeling. Prepares, maintains and interprets periodic and ad hoc reports on application/new account activity, enterprise risk, and bank financial activity including liquidity, capital, asset/liability management, and marketing results. Helps to develop, maintain and update complex business solutions including data, reporting and business intelligence used in the analysis and reporting of company results.


Essential Functions:

  • Develops and delivers recurring or ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support management decision making.


  • Presents analysis to senior management in a clear, concise and actionable format, develop plans and recommendations for business strategies and tactics.


  • Interprets complex financial information and provides recommendations on financial and operational opportunities.


  • Acts as a key resource by providing informed, proactive financial analysis with a forward looking perspective to enable effective decision making and efficient resource utilization.


  • Contributes to the achievement of business goals and objectives by acquiring and applying advanced knowledge of the business, its products, services and processes.


  • Creates and maintains, and presents bank activity and financial reports using enterprise business intelligence solutions.


  • Ensures integrity of data used in reporting and analysis.


  • Extracts data from various bank systems for loading into analytical databases.


  • Maintains financial, marketing and activity databases for use in analysis and reporting.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance, economics, mathematics or related field is required. Masters Degree preferred.
  • 4 years financial/accounting analysis or finance/accounting work experience.
  • Experience as a financial analyst in the banking industry a plus.
  • SAS, Crystal Reports and other database/analytical programs skills highly desired.
