Job Overview:

Senior Financial Analyst- Commercial Finance

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key resource in reporting and providing critical analyses of the Contract Manufacturing and Warehouse Direct business\xe2\x80\x99 financial performance for finance and commercial leadership. As part of the Cold Beverage Finance team, you will be an integral part of the monthly close and forecasting processes. This role requires an understanding of corporate finance, a keen interest in learning about the business, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to contribute to the process of making sound business decisions.

What you will do:

  • Actively contribute to the development of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and gap closure initiatives as well as be heavily involved in the month end close process
  • Collaborate with finance and business partners to understand and communicate key drivers of Contract Manufacturing and Warehouse Direct financial results
  • Provide monthly reporting and performance analysis to management to drive sound decision making for the business
  • Support the Contract Manufacturing team with negotiations and day-to-day business management
  • Support the Cold Beverage Stage Gate process by evaluating profitability of new products and initiatives
  • Analyze key business performance metrics (volume, net revenue, COGS, and customer margins) to identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Develop a detailed understanding of financial systems including SAP and IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) to extract data and support the interpretation of periodic results
  • Provide complex ad-hoc financial analysis, modeling, reports and/or special projects as deemed appropriate by management
  • Bring a strong work ethic, a sense of ownership, and a positive attitude to tackle the day\xe2\x80\x99s challenges
Requirements:

What you must have:

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • Three+ years of relevant finance experience preferred
  • Financial experience including budgeting, forecasting, planning, analysis, and building financial models
  • Prior experience in a Corporate Finance role preferred, will consider experiences in Accounting, Investment Banking, or Consulting
Technical and Other Skills:
  • Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications with ability to model business requirements and prepare scenario analyses
  • Demonstrated competency in use of financial, planning and reporting software platforms

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to propose positive business solutions to complex problems

  • Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required
