Senior Financial Analyst takes the project lead in implementing or correcting processes and tools and ensures by appropriate training that the Controlling and Accounting team has a sustainable understanding of the group standards and SAP FI/CO.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities

Center of Expertise:

• Quality Assurance of Group Controlling and Accounting Standards:

identify process weaknesses, lead implementation and corrections, train local organization. * Ensure correct setup of SAP-FI/CO for Controlling Excellence: P&L, Product Profitability (xPERT / COPA), Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Orders (Sales, Production, Internal), etc.

• Ensure use of group reporting tools (SAP, AfO, xPERT, TSD, Power BI, etc.) for local purposes:

Monthly Controlling Report (Sales Figures, Profitability and Cost Structure, Invested Capital and Liquidity),
Cost Management Projects, Analysis of Business Functions (Production Profitability Report, Technical Services P&L, etc.)

Center of Scale:

• Support implementation of standard month end closing procedures in SAP and align with methods at SSC in Ditzingen and Taicang
• Quality Assurance of monthly closings by ensuring the proper use of standard check lists and demanding sufficient explanations of deviations
• Identify activities currently performed locally by the subsidiaries which can be transferred to Shared Services

Local Controlling TUS:

• Support analysis of actual figures and forecasting / budgeting
• Support of local Controlling Projects (e.g. cost management projects, etc.)

Experience

Requires at least 5 years of Experience in Controlling/Cost Accounting/SAP FI/CO preferable in a manufacturing environment. Must possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in MS Excel and SAP FI/CO. Must be able to communicate financial concepts to senior management as well as to non-financial staff. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. German language a plus. Desire to work collaboratively across multifunctional and international teams. Proven ability to drive results across hierarchies.

Education

Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, communications, or business administration.
