GENERAL PURPOSE

Leads a three-category global team responsible for delivering strategic launch plans\xe2\x80\x94for global integrated marketing of product launches and for product lifecycle management\xe2\x80\x94that help deliver on the revenue and brand goals for the two flagship MillerKnoll brands\xe2\x80\x94Herman Miller and Knoll. Establishes and grows the relationships, practices, and structures for a high-performing global product marketing organization that plans and executes product launches across Workplace, Seating, and Lifestyle categories. Serves as senior-most Herman Miller and Knoll product marketing lead to the Global Product Management category leads in aligning product strategy, vision, and go-to-market planning. Acts as the orchestra leader and key senior connector between the product category leadership, brand marketing leadership, and creative studio leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Accountable for individual product and category campaigns aligning to overall brand strategy and corporate initiatives, connecting dots across the categories to strengthen go-to-market strategies.

Accountable for the development and ongoing management of large-scale launch budgets, and category-level budget to both optimize for return on investment and nurture brand health for Herman Miller and Knoll brands.

Drive cross-functional strategic alignment and ensuring that channel and functional teams execute against the robust marketing and readiness strategy successfully and flawlessly, while putting processes in place to reduce friction and increase efficiencies between teams.

Establish clear purpose, roles, structure, budgets, KPIs, and processes to create a unified and efficient global product marketing approach for the Herman Miller and Knoll brands.

Key marketing partner to distribution channel leads, Product Development, external designers, and Product Management leadership in ensuring maximized, powerful global product launches and in creating annual category marketing plans that align with business strategy.

Key marketing partner to Global Creative Studio, Product Development and Product Management functions in creating best practices that streamline work, integrate into the NPC process, and increase efficiencies in performance and resources for product launches.

Key marketing partner to Product Management and Product Development in representing voice of the customer and providing insights that may influence launch timing, go-to-market strategy, and product development considerations for Herman Miller and Knoll brand products.

Lead and develop a team that manages all global product launches, go-to-market campaigns, and lifecycle management initiatives across product categories (Seating, Workplace, and Lifestyle) for both Herman Miller and Knoll.

Lead strategy development for all three categories for both Herman Miller and Knoll (acknowledging that the Workplace category is the largest and most complex category) while partnering with cross-category team on strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives across multiple distribution channels (contract and retail), verticals (enterprise, healthcare, education) and marketing platforms (site, social, CRM, PR, showroom/stores, other experiential/events, etc.) globally, for all leaders within all three categories inclusive of Seating and Lifestyle.

Manage team workload and project assignments across the two brands\xe2\x80\x99 category initiatives, product launches and product lifecycle projects.

Responsible for reconciling global strategic brand goals and regional realities in the positioning of the Herman Miller and Knoll brands and their products.

Leads the team vertically (your own structure), horizontally (key contributor and cross functional leader) and as an agile leader with the MillerKnoll leadership team.

Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

10-15 years of related brand and product marketing experience, preferably in a matrixed environment.

BA/BS preferred.

Master\xe2\x80\x99s a plus but not required.
