Job Responsibilities

The Global Compensation Department provides support to our business units on job analysis, market pricing, reward and recognition program development and implementation, incentive program design and associated change management, and overall compensation analysis and consulting. As a key member of our Compensation team we are seeking a mid to senior level analyst to serve as an integral partner of our Global HR team.

The Compensation Analyst will provide analysis and support to senior-level Compensation consultants, HRBPs and Managers, through data research and analysis, and process facilitation related to the design and implementation of compensation programs which are competitive, cost effective and consistent with Lam\'s values, business goals and total rewards strategy.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and administration of the annual compensation review cycle. Examples may include: market data assessment and analysis, presentations to communicate the program calendar, and system configuration and testing.
  • Builds business acumen through interactions with HRBPs and business leaders to understand business objectives to then translate them into Compensation action items.
  • Provides various analyses in support of key company and organization-specific needs. Examples include the review and audit of the U.S. work and pay practices, a needs assessment and design of business specific incentive programs and subsequent administrative processes, and attrition and pay analysis; the depth and breadth of the analysis and projects will vary depending on the specific need and client.
  • Proactively gathers changes in the Non-Exempt labor regulatory environment to then partner with internal stakeholders to understand if and how such impact Lam.
  • Provides general, ad hoc support to Sr Compensation consultants and other members of the Total Rewards team.
  • Contributes to various other projects and initiatives pertaining to global total reward programs and practices.
  • Works in a team environment as a key member of the Global Compensation Department and Total Rewards team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficiency with desktop software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and, specifically Excel, is a must; ability to utilize SAP and web-based tools is desirable.
  • Strong competence in the analysis of data. Broad-based compensation programs experience especially with Non Exempt-type jobs. CCP certification and global compensation experience are preferred.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, HR or related field with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the Compensation function or other relevant experience utilizing analytical skills, such as Finance. MBA degree preferred.
  • An individual who displays initiative and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and can effectively adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-starter and ability to work with ambiguities.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills required; demonstrated attention to detail; ability to translate analyses into concise and clear management reports/presentations.
  • Demonstrated progressive compensation analytical experience, preferably in the high technology industry.
  • A passion for accuracy with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong data analytical skills and ability to effectively communicate such.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic; ability to interface effectively with employees across cultures.
