Job Summary:
The Multifamily Senior Analyst\'s primary functions entail interacting with the Client Advisory Team and prospective clients to assist in analyzing multifamily properties and promote SRG Residential third-party property management services. This includes collecting and analyzing data, meeting with prospective apartment developers and investors, and working with the Client Advisory Team to present data in an informative way, with the goal of growing the firm\'s third-party property management platform.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Driven to deliver excellence to clients and internal stakeholders by way of accuracy and speed, with the desire to operate with a \xe2\x80\x98high-end, high-touch\' mentality to differentiate SRG Residential from our competitors.
  • Research rental markets and develop an understanding of the supply, demand, and other indicators and trends that may influence multifamily investment and operational rationale.
  • Compose rent analysis, competitive analysis, apartment budgets and proformas, presentation materials, and internal/external correspondence.
  • Analyze apartment financial and operations statements to identify potential inefficiencies.
  • Develop presentations and other ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Prepare and present reports to executives and committees.
  • Present compelling trends and analyses to internal teams and clients on a regularly basis.
  • Review requests for proposal and articulate client follow-up questions.
  • Research and maintain general knowledge of trends and statistics relevant to current and target submarkets.
  • Can assess/reconcile unit mix tables against architectural plans.
  • Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate meeting logistics for virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain and organizes filing system, correspondence, and other records (in paper and electronic, as required).
  • Handle data entry duties as needed.
  • Generate monthly invoices for consulting and due diligence contracts.
Required Competencies and Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formula, logical and statistical functions, charts and graphs, and pivot tables.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Can work alone and effectively manage time and workload.
  • Demonstrates persistence in achievement of goals and overcoming obstacles, maintains a high standard of excellence while taking calculated risks to reach goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills showing the ability to interact proactively and productively with others, especially under stressful situations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly, informatively, and free of typos or grammatical mistakes.
  • Work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
Education and Experience:
  • 5-7 years of real estate analysis or apartment operational experience.
  • Associate degree from accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of apartment operations and data analysis.
  • Experience with real estate business development preferred.
  • Experience engaging in business development pitches and/or experience interacting with various clients preferred.
Other Qualifications:
  • Outlook Email, Calendar and Contact systems experience.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word experience.
  • Preferred, but not required: experience with data modeling, visualization software, and Adobe InDesign.
