The Capital Markets team within Client Solutions Group is responsible for coordinating the intersection of product team priorities, sales channel initiatives and investing clients of the firm. The team centrally manages the fundraising calendar and is responsible for curating the product suite by sales channel. The team is highly integrated with our client advisor teams globally and with the product specialists across CSG and serves three primary functions: (1) Strategy & Analytics: centralizing the fundraising process across multiple product offerings requires the gathering and synthesis of data and providing sales analytics to regional leadership teams to enhance and optimize the fundraising process; (2) Product Governance: prioritization of new product initiatives and sequencing through various client channels involves managing new product and mandate committees and liaising with the research & development team to accelerate new product initiatives; (3) Campaign Management: once products are launched, the team is responsible for delivering an institutionalized and consistent approach to each fundraising campaign, working closely with the product-specialists teams throughout the fundraising process, communicating and driving follow-up with client advisor teams, as well as managing both internal and external communications among various constituents including clients, prospects, sales leadership, client coverage, investment team leadership and the executive office to ensure consistent messaging on fundraising initiatives. We are looking for an Associate to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover or assist in covering a major region (e.g. US, EMEA, Asia) or client channel (e.g. institutions, third party retail, private wealth)
  • Ensuring that fundraising campaigns are progressing within the region or channel that they cover
  • Manage the process through which we go to market in a particular region or channel, including events, targeting exercises, client communication, capital raising evaluation, and training for client advisors
  • Ensuring that capital formation processes in their respective region / channel are aligned with broader global initiatives
  • Articulate the key selling points across our product offerings within their region/channel and understand what is marketable within the region/channel through market research and competitor intelligence
  • Oversee analyst product-specific workflows to ensure consistency across and within those client channels
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of prior work experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity on alternative investing strategies, particularly the private markets
  • Team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, with an ability to manage multiple projects with different deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Advanced facility with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior investment banking or capital markets experience is an asset
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$170000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
