Role Overview

As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your vigilance and professionalism will help ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Safeguard personnel, visitors, and property. Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance systems. Inspect buildings, access points, and security equipment. Control access, respond to alarms or incidents, and investigate suspicious activity. Enforce company policies, document irregularities, and manage incidents professionally. Direct traffic and oversee access control as needed. Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs. Monitor building systems and report safety or maintenance concerns. Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations. Perform basic preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs when required.

Qualifications

Valid Florida Class D Security License (required) Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Professional appearance with excellent communication skills Comfortable using computers and writing clear reports Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must own a smartphone for communication and reporting
