About the Role

Nation Security is seeking a vigilant, dependable, and professional

Security Officer

to help protect our facilities, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate is observant, proactive, and capable of responding calmly and effectively to any situation, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for residents and visitors, delivering a professional and welcoming experience. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and on-site activity to maintain continuous situational awareness. Enforce access control procedures, verifying identification and authorization for all personnel and guests. Respond promptly to security incidents, medical emergencies, or disturbances while prioritizing safety and professionalism. Administer First Aid or CPR when needed and coordinate with emergency services for quick response. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain detailed daily activity logs. Support loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing suspicious behavior, theft, vandalism, or policy violations. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders during investigations or critical events. Promote safety awareness by educating staff and visitors on security protocols and emergency procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid

Florida Class D Security License

(required). Valid

Florida Driver License

(required). CPR, First Aid, or security/surveillance certifications (preferred). Strong observational, problem-solving, and situational awareness abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Composure and sound judgment under pressure. Physically capable of performing patrols and emergency responses. Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
