Are you looking for a great job with advancement potential? We have an immediate opening for a Quality Manager, with a background in the wire harness industry. This company is a fast-growing custom wire harness design and low-production, high-quality manufacturing facility in Southern, Indiana.

Key Functions:

  • Plans and directs all quality related functions in the plant.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the Quality Team
  • Reports directly to the President and is responsible for the overall development and administration of Quality resources within the plant.
  • The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and reviewing process controls, emphasizing customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and waste reduction.
  • Knowledge and experience in automotive work and must be able to establish and manage a quality management system and complete the following documentation to customer requirements:
  • Advanced Quality Planning
  • Production Part Approval
  • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
  • Control Plans
  • Measurement System Analysis
  • Design and administer a Quality Management System internal audit system.
  • Be able to develop and improve appropriate product inspection methods throughout the organization to include, receiving, in-process and final product.
  • Act as a liaison with the customer to resolve external issues to include containment, product assessment, root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Continue to develop the Quality Management System to optimize performance as the organization continues to grow.
  • Assist in daily review of production quality performance.
  • Schedule and chair regular Quality Review meetings to Appraise Management of Quality.
Requirements:
  • Requires a BS degree from a credited college, university or technical school and minimum of 5 years related experience in quality supervision in automotive manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry a plus.
  • Have full working knowledge of ISO-9001:2015, SPC and be able to sustain a Quality Management System in accordance with the standard.
