Job Summary:
The Property Manager is responsible for the overall management of the property, ensuring that it is well-maintained, secured, and financially viable. The successful candidate will work closely with tenants, maintenance staff, and contractors to create a positive and productive living environment. The Property is a low income housing development for individuals who have experienced homelessness and units are deeply affordable. The Property manager is responsible for all collections, managing and coordinating staff duties and responsibilities, and generating site operations and activity reports. The Property Manager is responsible for coordinating tenant relations and community activities both internally and within the larger community. The manager is tasked with maximizing available resources to accomplish property objectives as set forth by the Property Owner. The ideal candidate has experience with low income compliance including but not limited to LITCH, HOME, or Homekey.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the property, ensuring that it is always clean, fully operational, and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all tenants\' needs are met and their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Manage financial records, including rent collection, budgets, and expenses, ensuring that these meet financial objectives.
  • Create and execute marketing plans to drive tenant occupancy and income growth.
  • Manage leasing process, including screening applicants, negotiating leases, and enforcing lease agreements.
  • Implement Blended Management systems by collaborating with and maintaining ongoing communications with the Service Coordinator and Service Providers onsite.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, such as the Department of Housing and Urban Development, to ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage additional site staff including maintenance-janitor, community builder, etc.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in the property management industry, with a proven track record of success in affordable housing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Physical Demands:
The Property Manager is required to perform various physical activities, including but not limited to, standing for an extended period, lifting heavy objects, and climbing stairs. Working Environment:
The Property Manager - Affordable Housing may work in an office setting or in both indoor and outdoor environments, depending on the particular property\'s nature. Salary and Benefits:
The Property Manager - Affordable Housing earns an annual salary of $50,000 - $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The position also offers benefits packages that include health and dental coverage, paid vacation and holidays, and retirement plans. Equal Opportunity Employer:
