Description: Job Title: Project Manager Job Code: SAS20230604-99376 Job Location: Fort Wayne, IN : L3Harris Space Systems is seeking a Project Manager for the Spectral Solutions Division reporting directly to the Project Management/Business Operations Lead. As a member of the Spectral Solutions Division in the Space Systems Sector this Project Manager role assists in driving the strategic direction of the Division in coordination with the Division General Manager and Project Management/Business Operations lead. This role will assist the Project Management Lead with all business operations, deliverables, and work products the division provides to the sector, segment, and corporate. This role will be a strong collaborator of business information for the division. He/she will assist in the execution of internal efforts aligned to help drive the business. This role will assist in driving the strategic planning process, prioritizing the investment portfolio, strategizing on customer engagement and conferences, and executing specific strategic activities critical to the division. This role is a collector and translator of market and business ideas and concepts into clear, concise and compelling strategic direction. Essential Functions:
Assist in collection of business operations inputs and deliverables needed to meet division, sector, segment and corporation internal requests
Assist in collection and refreshing of internal investments (capital, IRAD, discretionary) to ensure alignment and proper execution of division strategy
Assist Project Management Lead and Division General Manager in developing and improving a cohesive, long-term division Joint Strategic Plan that addresses market/customer needs,
technology development, differentiated solutions, customer relationships, and staffing
Assist in collection and creation of inputs for yearly division presentation for Joint Strategic Plan that ensures continuous alignment of internal strategy and needs and company priorities
Help Project Management Lead create and execute yearly customer engagement and conference strategy
Assist with additional key projects to help drive the overall division strategy
Help create compelling executive-level business presentations to inform and facilitate decision making
Translate complex technical and business information into visually-compelling and crisp messages
Help define a consistent approach and templates for creating and delivering presentations to leadership
Assist Project Management Lead in evaluating and shaping division portfolio focus
Recommend areas to increase and decrease emphasis
Cultivate strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders in various roles and functions
Collaborate with cross-functional team on division deliverables
Responsible for improving upon existing or establishing new processes and systems used by the division and influencing the adoption of these practices, approaches and concepts
Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, 2 years post Secondary/Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience, Or, Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
