Job Description

Project Manager for Duke s Root Control, Inc. to work at our Virginia Beach, VA location. May telecommute up to two days per week and more frequently as necessary. Manage water projects, including guide project engineers, technicians, + field personnel. Performance design services on water conv projects, including preparing project plans + specifications for permitting, bid coordination, + control administration. Perform construction administration services for water projects, including review shop drawings, construction schedule + pay requirements, attending project meetings, preparing + negotiating COs, confirming permit compliance, reviewing acceptance test reports, + coordinating project close-out. Prepare permit applications with support information, including E&SC, PWS, NCDWQ Fast Track applications, + NCDOT Encroachment Agreements. Prepare utility assessments + evaluate reports, + other written reports. Develop projects, + build + maintain client relationships. Little domestic travel may be involved. Must have Bachelor in Civil Engineering, related Engineering, or other related field and 5 years relevant experience in infrastructure evaluation, design, and construction.

Also requires skills (5 years experience in): design and construction administration of water and sewer projects, including applying relevant regulatory guidelines; rehabilitation, replacement, repair, and operation of sewer collection and water distribution systems; technical and report writing, presentations, and interviews; coordinating solutions with clients and contractors; and Microsoft Office; and (1 year experience in) working with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ERSI ArcMap, and Water/SewerCAD.
