If you are a sales or engineering professional looking for a product management opportunity, the Actuation Technologies team at Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Ontario, Ohio location, you will work collaboratively with a cross functional team to develop a clear product roadmap strategy that achieves sales and profitability targets. AS A PRODUCT SPECIALIST, YOU WILL: Work in the following capacity: Portfolio Management

• Perform in-depth market research study to identify features and enhancements needed to develop new products while also evaluating portfolio rationalization/obsolescence options
• Continually work with engineering and supply chain to evaluate cost reduction opportunities

Pricing and Configuration

• Develop and maintain global price list
• Develop and maintain global product configuration options
• Set clear quote/no quote guidelines
• Manage special pricing agreements

Product Marketing

• Develop and maintain product collateral targeted at core industries and applications
• Prepare and give presentations to varied audiences.

Support and Reporting

• Provide technical assistance for sales representatives and distributors and subsidiaries

WHO YOU ARE:

or personal performance. You anticipate and adjust effective contingency plans. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering or Business or prior experience in a similar role
• 1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 related experience
• Proficient in ASME and ASTM standards
• Self-motivated and have a positive attitude
• Technical qualification in a mechanical field highly desirable
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Oracle and CRM experience a plus
• Customer focus skills including interpersonal and communication skills
• Organizational skills and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Knowledge of valves and valve actuators would be valuable
