Impact In This Role

As Product Manager, Account Growth, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to penetrate and expand accounts, including the evolution of our tiered plans/packages, currently consisting of Essential and Premium offerings, as well as their associated features, services, and pricing. In addition, you will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of Fictiv\'s customer-facing platform, a manufacturing execution solution that interfaces with Fictiv manufacturing operations teams and suppliers in Fictiv\'s growing global manufacturing partner network.

You will report to a Group Product Manager.

What You\'ll Be Doing

  • Contribute to the overall strategy and roadmap for B2B customer account growth, focusing on increasing penetration and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Responsible for delivering an amazing experience to our customers from initial signup, team collaboration, design feedback, quotation, and purchase through order fulfillment on app.fictiv.com.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities for enhancing our tiered plans/packages and aligning them with customer needs and market trends.
  • Understand the customer pain, root out friction to deliver our service to them that solves that pain, and help them bring hardware products to market faster.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing, to gather input and feedback, and ensure alignment on account growth strategies.
  • Drive experiments, features, and services for product-lead account growth and marketing investments, ensuring we continually hone our user journey to drive account penetration and expansion.
  • Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and pricing structures that drive customer adoption, usage, and account expansion.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design teams in achieving successful outcomes by clearly communicating business needs, requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and removing friction from the product development process.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to develop detailed product requirements, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate the desired account growth initiatives.
  • Drive the product development process from concept to launch, working closely with Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Monitor product performance, track key metrics, and gather customer feedback to continuously iterate and improve the account growth offerings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on account growth initiatives, supporting Sales and Customer Success teams with product knowledge, training, and documentation.
  • Create trust and transparency by communicating team progress and results to stakeholders; help the organization celebrate successes and learn from failures.
  • Travel 5-10% annually in the U.S. for team meetings, research, and training.
Desired Traits
  • 3+ years experience in software product management, product marketing, or similar roles, preferably in a B2B company.
  • Understanding of the B2B customer lifecycle and experience in driving account growth strategies that utilize a membership or freemium business model.
  • Success in managing complex products and developing business strategies that result in customer adoption, account growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed product decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Track record of successfully leading teams and influencing without authority.
