How you\'ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Delta Air Lines Political Action Committee (DeltaPAC) Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of DeltaPAC and assisting with PAC, GOTV, grassroots and other political engagement related duties. The Washington, DC office-based position will report directly to the Political Engagement Manager and will require occasional travel. College hire or 1-2 years experience position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The day-to-day administration of DeltaPAC and support PAC activities, including processing contributions, membership management, distributing communications, website updates, and database management.
Under the direction of the Political Engagement Manager, coordinate fundraising events and serve as PAC contact source for lobbyists, fundraisers and others.
Assist Political Engagement Manager in developing PAC membership presentations and materials, PAC reports and other analysis.
Coordinate PAC membership benefits, including preparation of monthly newsletter.
Oversee record-keeping for PAC and assist with the preparation of FEC, federal lobbying and other reports.
Support grassroots and GOTV programs, including assist with planning of fly-ins, site visits and special events.
Performs other duties as assigned relating to political engagement programs.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
1-2 years relevant PAC, political campaign or fundraising experience
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel andPowerPoint) Strongwriting and editing skills.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and ability to effectively manage numerous time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment.
Where permitted by applicable law, you have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Graphic design experience and working knowledge of graphic design software.
Familiarity with maintaining websites (particularly in Sharepoint) anddatabases.
Strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
Familiarity with congressional and legislative processes.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in political science, communications or marketing or 1-2 years direct experience with PACs, political campaign or fundraising can substitute for degree.
