What You Will be Doing:
This opportunity is with a global specialty chemical manufacturer that is starting up a greenfield site in the Pasadena area. This new plant will be manufacturing specialty chemicals in batches that will be used in all sorts of industries such as consumer products, industrial materials, and agriculture. This will be a new role that will be assisting with electrical power, instrumentation, and controls. You\xe2\x80\x99ll initially be writing and reviewing electrical documentation of processes and equipment, ensuring drawings are accurate, and collaborating with E&C firms to install new equipment. After the plant is running, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, improving design of equipment, completing maintenance tasks, and collaborating/guiding technicians on site.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. Engineering, preferably Electrical
4+ years experience in chemical manufacturing
Must have electrical power experience of at least 480V
Experience with instrumentation is preferred and having controls is a plus
